In 2000, I attended my very first NHL Entry Draft. It was also the same year that Minnesota and Columbus were accepted into the league, thus the pick announcement for the Expansion Draft was held at the night before. Although it seems like an oxymoron I use the term'innocent conspiracy' for a reason. I don't believe reffs form Ontario sit down and intend to make bad calls from the Habs. I don't believe for a minute they have an evil agenda. That's why the conspiracy is innocent. What I do believe is that it's virtually impossible for these reffs to be objective and it shows on the ice. How can they grow up hating the Habs, resenting their success and look at that CH on the crest and be completely objective.

Bobby Hull was the first Chicago player to top 100 points. In 1968-69, Hull scored 58 goals and added 49 assists for 107 points in 74 games. At the time, the 58 goals was an NHL record. Bobby finished second in the league, behind Phil Esposito's 126 points. Zubov was drafted in the fifth round, 85th overall from the Rangers from CSKA Moscow in Russia. Zubov played 1,068 regular season NHL games between 1992-93 and 2008-09 with the Rangers, Pittsburgh Penguins and Dallas Stars. The playmaker scored 152 goals and assisted on 619 to get 771 points.

Orr was born in Ontario, Canada. He began playing hockey shortly after he had begun to walk. Orr earned the highest salary of any NHL rookie ever, receiving roughly $25,000 each year. He also became the first NHL defenseman who was also potent on offense. Orr led the Boston Bruins to two NHL Stanley Cup championships (1970, 1972), while he won the defenseman MVP eight consecutive years. During his NHL career, Orr also helped to launch the NHL Players Association.
